The portal in the east side, which is decorated with deluxe ornaments can be described as the best conserved portal among Mardin buildings. It was built by Abdullatif who served to Artuqid sultans such as Melik Mahmut and Melik Muzaffer in 1371. Present minaret was built by Musul Governor Gürcü Mehmed Pasha in 1845.
